The McNulty Water People’s Utility District (PUD) in Oregon successfully completed their eight-year Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) Limited License project becoming only the second recipient in Oregon of a permanent ASR license.
Buffalo Geological served as the geological consultant. We were responsible for:
· The Limited License Application
· All geological testing and evaluation
· Detailed Cycle Testing Plans
· Annual Reports
· The Permanent License Application
The project costs demonstrate that the benefits of ASR are a very
affordable alternative to above ground storage tanks for small as well as
large sized water supply districts.
This project was featured in the Water Well Journal's December 2015 edition under the title: "A Second Use."
